Cache Valley Skiing And Snowmobiling Guide
When it comes to skiing/snowboarding in Cache Valley, you have 2 options.
1. Beaver Mountain Ski Resort

Beaver Mountain is a small ski resort located in Logan Canyon. It’s a 35-60 minute drive from anywhere in Cache Valley, located just 27 miles east of Logan. The mountain has 4 ski lifts and many trails for the beginners to the advanced.
The Beaver Mountain ski resort has been around since the early 1950′s and has become one of Cache Valley’s premiere activities.
Season passes range from $270 if bought in the spring to $570 if bought in the fall. Daily ski rates for a full day of skiing is $40 for adults and $30 for the kids. They also have other packages available depending on lifts, areas skied, ages, and they have packaged deals for large groups. More information here and maps here. 2. The Back Country/Cross Country Skiing
If you like to make your own trails take a drive up Logan Canyon where you can find many trails and back country to leave your own mark. Or you can hit the Wellsville mountains on the West side of Cache Valley, and if your adventurous you can take a drive up to the Idaho border and try out the Franklin Basin ski trails, all it takes is a little imagination to make your own trails.

The snowmobiling trails in Cache Valley were ranked 9th in the nation in 2004-2005, we know how to snowmobile, and our scenery is nothing short of spectacular. The Cache Valley area supports over 180 miles of trails with over a 100 inches of fresh untouched powder in the prime snowmobiling months of December to May.
